Before installing, ensure your browser meets these requirements.

Step-by-Step Installation

Follow these steps to install ScraperQ from the Chrome Web Store.

Visit Chrome Web Store

Click the button below to open the ScraperQ page on the Chrome Web Store:

Add to Chrome

On the Chrome Web Store page:

  1. Click the "Add to Chrome" button in the top right
  2. A permission dialog will appear — review the permissions
  3. Click "Add extension" to confirm

Permissions Explained

ScraperQ requires permissions to read and change data on websites you visit. This is necessary for the extension to analyze page structure and extract data. No data is sent to external servers without your explicit action.

Pin the Extension

For easy access, pin ScraperQ to your browser toolbar:

  1. Click the puzzle icon (Extensions) in the Chrome toolbar
  2. Find ScraperQ in the list
  3. Click the pin icon next to it

Sign In to Your Account

After installation, sign in to access all features:

  1. Click the ScraperQ icon in your toolbar
  2. The side panel will open
  3. Click "Sign In" and authenticate with your Google account
  4. You'll receive 50 free AI credits to get started

You're all set!

After signing in, you're ready to start scraping. Head to the Template Generation guide to create your first template.

Verify Installation

Make sure everything is working correctly.

After installation, verify ScraperQ is working:

  1. Check the toolbar — ScraperQ icon should appear in your Chrome toolbar
  2. Open the side panel — Click the icon to open the ScraperQ panel
  3. Navigate to a website — Visit any public website to see the extension activate

Extension not showing?

If ScraperQ doesn't appear in your toolbar, try restarting Chrome. If the issue persists, check chrome://extensions to ensure ScraperQ is enabled.
