Prebuilt Templates
Skip template creation: install a ready-made template for a popular site and run it in your browser.
Install a prebuilt template
Prebuilt templates are installed from the website into your account. You need the ScraperQ extension and a signed-in Google account.
Browse the templates
Open the template library and pick a template. Each page shows what the template collects and an example of the data.

Sign in with Google if asked, then click Install Template. Installing is free and does not count against your saved-template limit.

Find it in the extension
Open the ScraperQ side panel and go to Templates, then the Installed tab. Your installed templates are listed there. If the extension is installed, the Run in Extension button on the template page opens the run dialog directly.

Run it
Installed templates run directly. There is nothing to set up or select.
Open the page you want to scrape
Go to a page the template supports in your browser, for example a search or category page. Click Run on the template, then Use current tab to fill in its address, or paste a URL.
Pick a mode
Templates that read both lists and detail pages offer up to three modes:
- List — one row per item on the list pages.
- List then details — opens each item and saves its detail page fields.
- Details only — you give the detail page URLs, one row per page. This is the only mode that accepts a list of URLs.
Set limits and export
Choose how many pages or items to collect and the export format, then start the job. Watch it in the Jobs tab and use Live data to see rows as they arrive.
Public pages only
Edit or customise
Installed templates are read-only copies.
Use Copy on an installed template to make an editable copy in My Templates. The installed original stays unchanged.
